Trevilians Eagles Preview: Week of January 27
Posted on 01/27/2020
Hello Trevilians Families,

Here is the Trevilians Eagles Preview for the week of January 27-31.

First, we would like to congratulate our very own 5th grader, Lilly Raines, for winning the LCPS County-wide Spelling Bee last week. Lilly will now represent LCPS at the next level of competition. We would also like to congratulate our other Eagles who did a great job at the competition: Henry Holtzman, Natalie Wilson, Brayden Feasel, Joshua Gaye, and Chase Gatton.

It is time once again for our annual American Heart Association Fundraiser, the Kids Heart Challenge. The Kids Heart Challenge promotes community service by helping those that have heart-related medical conditions. The last day to turn in donations will be on Friday, February 7. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Blanchard. Thank you for helping us support this important organization.

We would like to give you a Save the Date for an exciting event that will take place on Thursday, March 19th, from 5:00-7:00 PM--“Family Innovation Night”. Come out for this free, annual event that includes a pizza dinner and will be held at Louisa County High School. Come to our planetarium and learn how to identify every planet in our solar system in dramatic "flights" towards each world, and come check out a real Monster Truck! We can’t wait to see you there as we explore the possibilities.

On Friday, we will have a Community Meeting to recognize one of our community partners, Pony Partners. Pony Partners has been a big supporter of TES and our students, and now we would like to support them. We are going to have a Coin Drive to raise money for this awesome non-profit organization that has done a lot for some of our students. Information will be coming home with all students, and all coin and dollar values will be accepted during the Coin Drive. The homeroom that collects the most money will receive a Pony Party from Pony Partners! We appreciate your support of this great organization.

This week we will have our First Semester Awards Ceremonies. Here are the times for each grade-level ceremony. Each ceremony will last approximately 30 minutes.

9:00 AM - 4th Grade

10:00 AM - 2nd Grade

11:00 AM - Kindergarten

12:00 PM - 1st Grade

1:00 PM - 3rd Grade

2:00 PM - 5th Grade

Those are all of our announcements for this week. We hope you all have a great week.
