Trevilians Eagles Preview: Week of February 3
Posted on 02/03/2020

Hello Trevilians Families,

Here is the Trevilians Eagles Preview for the week of February 3-7.

This week, the Lego Club will meet after school on Tuesday until 4:15.

This Friday is the final day of our annual American Heart Association Fundraiser. Please turn in all donations to Mrs. Blanchard in the gym by Friday. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Blanchard. Thank you for helping us support this important organization.

We would like to give you a Save the Date for an exciting event that will take place on Thursday, March 19th, from 5:00-7:00 PM--“Family Innovation Night”. Come out for this free, annual event that includes a pizza dinner and will be held at Louisa County High School. You can meet Justin Carroll, a NASCAR Arca Menards Series and NASCAR Whelen All-American Series professional driver, ready to show you his NASCAR race car and tell you how it works. You can also drive a NASCAR simulator as you speed down a virtual course. We can’t wait to see you there as we explore the possibilities.

Last Friday, we had a Community Meeting to recognize one of our community partners, Pony Partners. Pony Partners has been a big supporter of TES and our students, and now we would like to support them. We will have a Coin Drive to raise money for this awesome non-profit organization that has done a lot for some of our students. Information was sent home with all students on Friday,, and all coin and dollar values will be accepted during the Coin Drive. The homeroom that collects the most money will receive a Pony Party from Pony Partners! We appreciate your support of this great organization.

Speaking of great organizations and community partners, our canned food drive to support the Louisa Food Bank is underway. We are accepting canned foods and dried goods this week that we will then send to the food bank. We appreciate those of you who have already sent in some items. Items can be given to the students’ homeroom teacher. We appreciate your support of this local community resource.

Here are our Eagle Eye for Kindness recipients from the last two weeks:
