Good evening, Trevilians Families!
Here is your Trevilians Eagles’ Preview for the week of October 19th-23rd.
This week we will continue our initiative, #LouisaLEADS: Our Community Comes First. We will honor the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office and our very own Deputy Wagner. Our teachers and students have plans to show this group how much we appreciate them. We would also like to thank all of our TES parents who serve as police officers. We appreciate what you do to help our community and keep it safe.
Our fall book fair is here! Blended Learning students took home information about the book fair, including the dates scheduled for students to shop in school. Families will not be able to come to the school to shop with students this year. Information for our Virtual Academy Students was attached to last week’s email and is attached to this email as well. We have special hours on Wednesday, October 21st and Wednesday, October 28th from 10am-2pm as well as Saturday, October 24th from 10am-2pm during which our book fair will be set up outside for Virtual Academy families to shop. Families of blended learning students who wish to shop with their children may also attend on Wednesday or Saturday. We will limit the number of people shopping at one time and enforce social distancing. Additionally, masks must be worn while shopping. Please see the flyer attached as well as information about using the eWallet payment option.
Report cards will be sent home with students on Monday, October 19th and Tuesday October 20th. They will be mailed home to our Virtual Academy Students.
As we are beginning our second marking period, our Resource teachers wish to remind you that students should be completing Resource at-home activities each week. Please check out the Resource Google Classroom or Seesaw Class. If you have questions, please reach out to any of our Resource teachers.
Finally, we’re excited to announce that Louisa County High School is holding a pumpkin carving contest for students at all schools! Entries are due by Friday, October 23rd. Please see the attached flyer for more information. We hope many of our TES students will participate!
As always, thank you for your continued support of Trevilians Elementary! Have a great week this week!
