FYI

Hello Trevilians Families,

Here is the Trevilians Eagles Preview for the week of March 2-6.

This week, we are celebrating Read Across America Week! We are excited to have many fun activities focused on Reading throughout the week. On Monday, we invite students to dress as their favorite Dr. Seuss character to celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss. Tuesday is a Teacher Work Day, so we hope that you will spend some time reading at home. Thursday, we hope you all will join us for Breakfast and Books starting at 7:15 in the cafeteria. As always, we will have free breakfast and free books for everyone. Finally, on Friday, we will invite everyone to curl up with a good book during the school day. Students are encouraged to wear their pajamas.

Extended Learning will continue this week on Monday and Wednesday. As I just mentioned, Tuesday is a Teacher Workday, so there will be no school for students. Wednesday is Spring Picture Day. Students will take individual and class pictures. Also, our club pictures have been rescheduled for this Thursday, due to a conflict last week.

I want to thank all of our families for the generous donations during our Pennies for Ponies fundraiser. Pony Partners has been a wonderful community supporter of TES and we are excited to give back to this organization. We are also excited to announce the grand total and the winner of our Pony Party at our Community Meeting on Friday morning!

Also on Friday, our fourth grade classes will be traveling to Louisa Arts Center to view a performance about Harriet Tubman.

Parents of 5th grade students, please remember to fill out the yellow school permission form AND the purple YMCA liability form in order for your student to participate in the aquatics field trip. Forms are due back March 6.

Don’t forget to mark your calendars for Thursday, March 19th from 5 - 7 pm for “Family Innovation Night”. The annual event will be held at Louisa County High School. Have you ever wanted to create your own music? Come to the Mobile STEAM Museum and collaborate with others as you make your own hit songs. We can’t wait to see you there as we explore the possibilities.

Finally, here are our Eagle Eye for Kindness recipients for the past two weeks:

1st Grade - Aldin Shaw and Liam Hill-Colvin
