Principal's Update
Preview of the Week: October 11
Hello Trevilians Families, Here is the Trevilians Eagles Preview for the week of October 11-15. We want to remind you that there will be no school for students tomorrow, Monday, October 11, due to a teacher workday. On Friday, report cards will be sent home with all students. As we mentioned last week, this month is Kindness Month at Louisa County Public Schools. We kicked it off with Spread Kindness Like Confetti last week. This week will be Coins for Kindness. We will be collecting money for Pony Partners, an awesome organization that has been a great partner with TES over the past few years. Students can bring in coins or dollars throughout the week, and next week we will present the donation to Pony Partners. We will have some incentives later in the month based on the amount of donations we receive, including Hat Day and Pajama Day, so gather up your spare change and help us support Pony Partners. Speaking of Kindness Month, students, have you ever wanted to see a fire truck up close? If you said yes, then join us on our next asynchronous learning day, Wednesday, October 20, as we spread kindness by visiting our local fire department and making our community beautiful! We will be planting flowers and washing fire trucks at the Louisa Volunteer Fire Department on East Main Street in Louisa from 1:00-2:00. Please wear your Kindness t-shirt to the event. Feel free to bring your own sponge, flowers, pumpkins, or plants to help decorate and clean! We are excited to announce that Crazy 8s Math Club is back this Fall at TES! This is not a tutoring service; rather, Crazy 8s is an over-the-top club designed to get kids fired up about math. A flyer was sent home with your child two weeks ago. Get more information and register at Please let us know if you have any questions. Finally, here are our Eagle Eye for Kindness recipients for the week: PK/KG - Ireoluwa Obe 1st Grade - Adrianna Hensley 2nd Grade - Emily Madison 3rd Grade - Lily Ikner 4th Grade - Jameson Albert 5th Grade - Aidan Molineaux We hope you all had an excellent weekend, and we hope you have a great week.
