Hello Trevilians Families,
Here is the Trevilians Eagles Preview for the week of September 16-20.
This Wednesday, September 18, will be an Asynchronous Day for all students. For those of you who signed up for child care for that day, the doors will open at 6:30 AM and will stay open until 6:30 PM. If you have any questions about child care for that day, please feel free to contact the school.
This Friday our 5th graders will get to experience a cool event as they head to the town of Louisa for an Ag Fair! Our students should have a great time learning about how agriculture plays an important role in our community.
Also on Friday, our kindergarten students and 3rd grade students will take part in free vision and hearing screenings provided by the Lions Club. We appreciate the Lions Club providing this service for our students.
Thank you to all of you who have completed your back-to-school information online. We only have a few families left who still need to complete this form. This information must be completed by September 20 in order for students to be able to continue to use LCPS devices, as it includes the Technology Acceptable Use form. If you have any questions about this, please contact our office.
We loved seeing everyone wearing their red, white, and blue last week for Patriot’s Day, and we’re going to do it again this week! On Tuesday, September 17, we will have Red, White, and Blue Day for Constitution Day!
Speaking of Constitution Day, join us on the Asynchronous Day this Wednesday at the Administration Building in the town of Louisa from 9 AM to 10 AM for a celebration of our local government and some of our government officials.
As you know, our annual Title I Back to School Night is scheduled for this Tuesday, September 17. However, it does not look like the weather is going to cooperate with us, as some reports are forecasting a 90% chance of rain on Tuesday. We will monitor the weather closely and will send out a call and email on Monday with our final determination. If we do have to postpone on Tuesday, we will reschedule the event for another day in the upcoming weeks.
The TES Kindness Closet is once again open for business! The Kindness Closet will be open every Wednesday from 3:30-5:00 PM, and there will be special hours this Saturday, September 21, from 9:00-11:30 AM. All families are welcome to come by and look for clothes for any of your children. If you have any questions about the Kindness Closet or want to notify someone ahead of time for your visit, please feel free to reach out to our counselor, Ms. Rudd.
Those are all of our announcements for the week. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions. Have a great week, Eagles!
Mr. Black
