Principal's Update

Hello Trevilians Families,

Here is the Trevilians Eagles Preview for the week of October 30-November 3.

Extended Learning continues this week.  We will have Extended Learning on Monday and Wednesday after school until 4:45.

On Tuesday, we will have Character Dress-up Day!  Come dressed as your favorite book/tv/movie/comic book character!  Please remember, for school, we ask that you do not wear masks or bring look-alike weapons.

Boo Grams will be delivered to students on Tuesday.

On Friday, you received some information about our school-wide fundraiser which will last from now until Nov. 10.  We appreciate your support in helping us raise money for our students and school programs.  To participate, just follow these 3 easy steps:

–Register at www.ShopFund.com

–Share custom support links with family and friends via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, email, or text.

–Try to get at least 5 online supporters.  By sharing, you get tickets for chances to win over $100,000 in instant prizes.

As a reminder, there will be no school for students next week on Monday, November 6 and Tuesday, November 7, due to a Staff Development Day and Election Day.

Please save the date for November 9th from 5-7 PM for Family Math Night, presented by Title I. At this event, you'll learn how you and your child can practice basic fact fluency through games that you can take home with you! You'll also have a chance to win the treats in our estimation jars and some fun board games! Finally, you won't have to cook dinner since we'll enjoy pizza following our game play. Be sure to RSVP by November 3rd at bit.ly/TESmathnight or by using the QR Code on the flyer that was sent home.

We want to thank everyone who was able to attend our Trunk or Treat event on Friday.  We had a huge turnout, and we want to thank all of our families who hosted a trunk and provided candy for our students.  The costumes were fantastic, and the trunks were outstanding.  Thanks again to our PTA for hosting this event.

We would like to thank everybody for your support with Operation Kindness during the month of October.  Last week, you all raised almost $250 for the Wounded Warrior Project, and a few weeks ago you turned in more supplies for our veterans than any other school, earning a school-wide ice cream party in the coming weeks!  Thanks again for spreading kindness to our first responders and military personnel over the last month!

We hope you all had an excellent weekend, and we hope you have a great week this week.

Mr. Black
