Trevilians Eagles Preview: Week of February 24
Posted on 02/24/2020

Hello Trevilians Families,

Here is the Trevilians Eagles Preview for the week of February 24-28.

This week, Extended Learning and Computer Club will take place after school on Monday and Wednesday until 4:45. The Art Club will meet after school on Friday until 4:15.

We would like to wish Xavier Jovell, Ella Prescott, and Isabel Sweat good luck as they represent TES at the Kerry Wynn Black History Month Quiz on Wednesday at LCMS.

Also on Wednesday, we would like to wish our TES Chorus good luck as they participate in the All County Music Festival at LCHS at 6:30 PM.

On Thursday, we wish our TES STEAM Team good luck as they participate in the STEAM Cup as part of the CTE Showcase Night that takes place from 5:00-7:00 PM at LCHS, with the STEAM Cup being held at LCMS.

On Friday, our 3rd graders will go on a field trip to see the Barter Theater at LCHS. Also on Friday, we will have club pictures during the day. That means that students in clubs such as the Art Club, the Lego Club, Odyssey of the Mind, Safety Patrol, etc., will have their group pictures taken on Friday.

Parents of 5th grade students, please remember to fill out the yellow school permission form AND the purple YMCA liability form in order for your student to participate in the aquatics field trip. They must return both forms to get into the pool for the aquatics safety lessons. Forms are due by March 6.

We would like to give you a Save the Date for an exciting event that will take place on Thursday, March 19th, from 5:00-7:00 PM--“Family Innovation Night”. Come out for this free, annual event that includes a pizza dinner and will be held at Louisa County High School. Have you ever wondered how bouncy balls are made and why they bounce so high? Come to the bouncy ball factory and transform special crystals into real bouncy balls that you can take home. We can’t wait to see you there as we explore the possibilities.

This week we will finish our Coin Drive for Pony Partners. We appreciate all of the donations that have come in so far. All coin and dollar values are accepted, and the homeroom that collects the most money will receive a Pony Party from Pony Partners! We appreciate your support of this great organization.

We also want to remind everyone that there will be no school for students on Tuesday, March 3rd. This is a follow-up to the letter our school division sent home with students back on November 8th. The Presidential Primary is on March 3rd, so that day is now scheduled to be a Staff Development Day at LCPS, which means no school for students. Please be sure to mark down this change on your calendar if you have not already done so. To view the original letter that was sent home on November 8th, please visit our division website,

Those are all of our announcements for this week. We hope you all have a great week.
