Hello Trevilians Families,
Here is the Trevilians Eagles Preview for the week of September 23-27.
Tomorrow, Monday, we will have our Back to School Cookout. This is the make-up date from last week when we had to cancel due to rain. The event will take place from 5;00-7:00, and it will begin in the cafeteria at 5:00 where we will have our Title I presentation and you will receive your tickets for dinner. After that, we’ll enjoy dinner, music, inflatables, and other activities on the soccer field. The TES PTA will also be there, and they’ll have snow cones, popcorn, and a silent auction table. We hope you can come out and enjoy the fun!
On Wednesday, our PTA will be having a meeting in our cafeteria starting at 6:30. Anyone interested in working with the PTA this year is welcome to attend.
This week, we will have our second Lockdown Drill of the year. Just like last time, our PK and KG students will not participate in this drill.
On Friday, Parks and Rec will host a dance at TES after school. Students attending need to be picked up by 5:30. If you have any questions about the dance, please contact Parks and Rec. The school will not be able to accept calls on Friday giving students permission to stay for the dance.
On Saturday, we will host a blood drive for Sickle Cell Awareness from 9:00-2:00 in the TES cafeteria. Come out and help us support this worthwhile cause.
Next Friday, October 4, is Grands Day at TES. We have received many RSVP’s so far, and we will still accept them this week. Please don’t forget to mark on the form who is coming and who is allowed to take home your student on that day.
Next week, the Book Fair will be at TES. Information will be coming home with students, and our librarian, Mrs. Graves, is looking for volunteers to help during the school day from September 30-October 4. If you are interested, feel free to email Mrs. Graves or call the school.
The TES Kindness Closet is once again open for business! The Kindness Closet will be open every Wednesday from 3:30-5:00 PM. All families are welcome to come by and look for clothes for any of your children. If you have any questions about the Kindness Closet or want to notify someone ahead of time for your visit, please feel free to reach out to our counselor, Ms. Rudd.
Those are all of our announcements for the week. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions. Have a great week, Eagles!
Mr. Black
